Success for our Timber partner company!
We’re delighted to announce that our partner company, Elite Timber Supplies, has been successful at the Cambridgeshire SME Business Awards!
This October, the Elite Group of companies attended the second ceremony for this year, which this time was held at Cambridge Country Club, to see if we were lucky to have made it as winners. Prior to this, in February Elite GSS was successful with the Gold Award for Business Chameleon, which put us forward into the finals in December, which we’ll be attending later this year at Wembley Stadium!
For this awards, all companies were successful in being shortlisted, Elite GSS and Elite Timber each for 3 categories and MultiMatts for 2 categories.

Elite Timber Supplies
- Best new business
- High growth business of the year
- Harry Ball – Business person of the year
Out of these fantastic categories, we took two awards home for Elite Timber Supplies, including a Silver for High Growth Business and a very well-deserved Gold for Harry Ball, Business Person of the Year!
For these categories, Elite Timber has automatically reached the SME Nationals 2022 along with Elite GSS.

Experience at the Cambridge Country Club
Upon entry to the plush location, we were greeted with a glass of champagne and shown to the lobby foyer, where we met some of the other finalists.
Shortly after, we were shown to the awards room and our tables. We must say the décor looked fantastic and went to show the nature of the show.
The hospitality team served a delicious three-course meal whilst everyone listened to entertainment, including violinists and a singer, along with lots of dancing and clapping.
Everyone got involved and it was a great laugh for all the attendees at the awards, see some of that here!
Then, there was the awards ceremony, where the finalists found out if they were successful this year.
It was a great event, and it was lovely to have a lot of the team together during this experience. It was one not to forget.
Finally, we’d like to say well done to the Events and PR team and the Cambridge Independent for organising the event. Also, to all of those who made it to the finals!
