Effective connection type to join DiamondTrack mats fast and efficiently.
When installing the DiamondTrack mat, simply place the connector under the corner holes of each mat and connect with a bolt and washer from the top.
Either the DiamondTrack 2-Way Connector or 4-way Connector are an ideal accessory to fix mats in rows or a grid. No specialist equipment is needed for these connectors, as all bolts and washers are standard size.
When using heavy plant and machinery, they also allow a small amount of flex to help prevent damages to the mats so they don’t lift on uneven surfaces and continue to protect the ground area. By using the connector, safety is often increased to prevent slipping and movement of loose mats when they are anchored together.
Need to knows
We always recommend that mats are connected, for health and safety purposes.
To install, please use either standard spanners, a wrench or battery operated drill to tighten the bolts. We do not advise using air-drills as this can cause over-tightening of the bolts.

Simply place the connector under the corner holes of each temporary access and ground protection mat and connect with a bolt and washer from the top.
Be aware not to over tighten the bolt to allow for room of movement and also expansion of the mats in hot weather conditions.
Handling & Storage
Gloves should be worn when handling this product. We deliver to site in pre-wrapped packs with pallets incorporated and banded with polyester strips, to safely transport and store using mechanical equipment. This may vary for some products.
