Cost-effective stair protection for temporary access.
The Stair Tread Protector is made from a robust cost-effective card that is easy to apply, especially in times when stairways need to remain clean during construction projects or in office buildings.
It comes pre-creased for folding at right angles* to comfortably fit each stair and can also be cut to size or shape with a knife. The Stair Tread Protector is lightweight, hardwearing, and made from recycled materials that prevent from damage, impact, spills, and heavy foot traffic.
We also have a Rigid option available in high visibility yellow to help prevent any expensive repairs and is made from high impact PVC Plastic for further protection with a rigid finish to provide excellent slip resistance.
If you’re wanting to look after hard floor or carpet stair treads, these protectors are a straightforward option with water resistance.
Need to knows
Overlap of 280mm is for the top of the stair tread. This item folds 50mm up the back riser and 170mm down the front riser (for the standard option).

Connectivity
Simply place the tread guard on the stair tread and crease along the pre-slit lines over the stair tread and up to the riser.
Fix using Low Tack PVC Tape or Cloth Tape, depending on the sensitivity of the surface to which it needs to be adhered to.
