SignBlok is a fantastic alternative in comparison to regular sandbags. Its true and constant weight allows for improved sign stability and prevents signs from collapsing, unlike wet sandbags.
The ballast block is sold as an empty mould with the ability to be filled by the contractor with water or sand, which in turn enables the SignBlok to split and disperse of material if it were to be hit by a vehicle.
When filled with water each SignBlok has a weight of 15kg and when filled with sand weighs 18kg* with no need to re-fill. Once filled it has an extensive lifespan of at least 10+ years in comparison to sandbags which often split and degrade within a few months.
SignBlok is manufactured from 100% HDPE and is easy to handle due to its unique design. The individual units can be easily stacked together to further increase wind stability and are also easier and cheaper to transport in comparison to alternative materials. Set up of the Signblok only requires a single person and can be installed within just 1 minute, with no specialist equipment needed.
This ballast block has an effective securing clamp, where it can easily be clamped to the cross brace on most signs and its securing clamp helps to prevent ballast movement in strong winds!
The SignBlok is available in the standard colour of hi-visibility yellow however, there is an option for corporate colours if required (subject to a minimum order quantity).

Handling & Storage
