Our Self-Tipping Skips have built-in forklift skids for an easy lift and are also stackable to save storage space and transportation costs.
When emptying is required, the forklift operator can simply lower the tines for the skip to tip and release its contents.
Our range of Forklift Self-Tipping Skips have been manufactured from 3mm Mild Steel Plate with reinforced tops to be durable and long-lasting and are CE-marked. The forklift skid tunnels are made from 4mm steel tunnels with a 5mm reinforced steel bar to minimise wear and tear.
They have been made in accordance with Machinery Directive 89/392EEC (Amended 98/37EEC) and conform to the harmonised European Standards EN292-1 and EN292-2 and to British standards BS EN ISO 12100-1:2003 and BS EN ISO 1200-2:2003.
In comparison to other Forklift Self-Tipping Skips on the market, ours has a strengthened D-shaped return that forces the angle back on itself to offer further flexibility instead of the top and sides sitting at a 90-degree angle.
Supplied as standard, Forklift Self-Tipping Skips come without a lid and have a 2-way entry that is suitable for use with castors. Other features incorporated into the Forklift Self-Tipping Skips are a tip handle, self-return, and an automatic reset mechanism until emptied.
We also have options with lids and mesh extensions to ensure that contents stay inside of the skip.
To increase safety further, there is a safety retaining chain to secure to a forklift and prevent the skip from sliding off the forks.
4-way entry bases are also available that allow the skips to be lifted from the back or sides. This type is only available on request, so please ask us about that if required.
Extras that are also available upon request include 125mm Polyurethane feet (two fixed and two swivel) suitable more for the 750L skip, 150mm Polyurethane feet (two fixed and two swivel with breaks) for the larger skips, and 200mm Rubber on Aluminium feet (two fixed and two swivel with breaks) for outdoor applications.
Canvas tops and heel pin fixings are also available.
