A straightforward project, supplying K-Mat Heavy Duty Roadway Panels for AW Plant Services in Great Yarmouth.
We were contacted by the crane hire business to hire 50 K-Mats to support the hefty weight of a crane that was needed for their own short-term project, near to the marshy coastal ground.
AW Plant Services were very pleased with the option to hire without the need for our own installation team. Their own Hiab and staff were used to lift each 295Kg mat into place and allow access for another 120 ton crane to move some buildings to the desired location.
“The route ground conditions were part gravel and one section was a soft bank, so we needed some reinforcement which the K-Mats were perfect for.”
