Type 1 Safety Cans have a single spout for filling and pouring and the sealed lid features automatic positive-pressure relief that vents between 3 and 5 psig (0.2 and 0.35 bar) to guard against rupture or explosion.
Made from high-grade coated steel, each can is tested to guarantee 100% leakproof construction.
The tough powder-coated finish resists chemicals and stands up to demands of rigorous use. Each safety can is equipped with a stainless steel flame arrester which dissipates heat to stop flashback ignition.
Capacities over 1L have a swinging handle to greatly ease carrying of heavier loads and the large label ID zone on the swing-handle cans provide writing space to identify contents, department location, or individual user name.
The Type 1 Safety Cans are certified by FM, UL/ULC, and TÜV, they also meet OSHA and NFPA requirements, and come with a ten-year warranty.

Handling and storage
Gloves should be worn when handling this product. We deliver to site in pre-wrapped packs with pallets incorporated and banded with polyester strips, to safely transport and store using mechanical equipment. This may vary for some products.
