Walkthrough Barrier for Traffic Management Barriers and Fencing.
In unison with our existing Crowd Control Barriers, we have released the Walkthrough Barrier.
Manufactured from galvanised steel with a red powder coating to finish, the Walkthrough Barrier highlights safe pedestrian access points on site and prevents vehicular entry in pedestrian only zones. This barrier is ideally used at outdoor events as well as in construction or building industries.
The Walkthrough Barrier benefits from added stability, with a reduced number of joins due to its round top that eliminates weak spots. The barrier is also top tube punched with 15 infill bars spaced at 130mm intervals slotted in and welded to the bottom of the frame, along with four supporting corner plates.
They can be stacked up to 10 barriers at a time due to their split offset leg system, therefore saving storage space on site.
This barrier has the versatility of a robust Crowd Control system whilst having specific safe access points. It can join easily to existing crowd control barriers with a hook and eye connection and can also be lifted by one person into place without needing specialist tools.
At an additional cost, we can supply a spring-loaded gate that offers resistance when it is opened and automatically closes itself. The bottom bar of the spring-loaded gate also increases the Walkthrough Barrier’s structural frame and the life span on site.
Need to knows
We recommend a wind loading risk assessment prior to installation. In addition, we advise using the Walkthrough Barrier on a flat and even surface for optimum performance.

Connection system
The barrier is easily connected to a Fixed Leg Crowd Control Barrier through a simple hook-and-eye connection. A swing gate can also be connected to the Walkthrough Barrier to provide additional security.
Handling & Storage
Gloves should be worn when handling this product. We deliver to the site in pre-wrapped packs with pallets incorporated and banded with polyester strips, to safely transport and store using mechanical equipment. This may vary for some products.
