Safe Site Matting used in true British style at Blenheim Palace
Blenheim Palace contacted us with a fantastic project to supply over 2,000 Temporary Access Mats...
A fast and effective solution used to provide both short and long term Ground Protection.
The Safe Site Matting can be easily adapted to fit around obstacles and has a simple but effective tongue and groove connection system, which also acts as an effective drainage solution.
Our matting can improve access over boggy grounds and significantly reduces noise impact to be used like pads over soft or sensitive ground.
Two different top surface patterns available to choose from including square or round.
Safe Site Matting can be placed on top of almost any type of surface and every single mat can be placed and connected quickly, effectively, and safely. If needed, these mats can easily adapt to go around obstacles by using a normal jigsaw or something similar to cut to shape.
The easy laying and simple installation process allow a huge range of applications. Safe Site Matting can be picked up at any time by a single person without any effort, or the need for specialist lifting equipment. This makes the mats ideal for temporary ground protection during events, around construction sites, as an insulating layer in marquees, or just as tough factory flooring.
Using the optional ramped edges provides a complete non-trip solution and enables its use with wheelchairs and buggies. The Safe Site Matting also incorporates an integrated drainage system, increasing weather protection.
The Safe Site Matting’s approved tongue and grove interconnecting system enables simple, safe and effective laying opportunities. Impact noise can also be significantly reduced with bearing loads of up to 10 tonnes, and have been further weight tested to withstand up to 20 tonnes (subject to ground conditions).
Need to knows
We advise not to use Steel Tracked vehicles with any composite mats unless pre-authorised and agreed beforehand, traversing and aggressive movement on the mats may cause damage to them and the connectors and this will be the sole responsibility of the customer and user of the mats. When assessing ground conditions on site we advise seeking professional engineering guidance if there is any doubt. It is the users responsibility to assess the load-bearing capacity of the ground, and to only operate vehicles within the weight that the ground is capable of safely supporting.
A site limit must be adhered to when using this product.
