What was the project?
The sports ground in Over, Cambridgeshire, was undergoing the exciting development of a new skate park to enhance local community facilities. This project called for temporary access along with fencing to ensure the safety of the construction workers and prevent any unauthorised access during the project.
Our solution, K-Mats!
68 K-Mat Heavy Duty Roadway Panels and 45 Heras style Mesh Fence Panels were used to mark out the driving area for vehicles that dropped off the materials needed for the sports ground.
A small team from Elite GSS were hired to efficiently install and dismantle the products – watch the video to see!
Result for Over
The combination of ground protection and security measures helped with the smooth progress of constructing the skate park in Over.
The Council was glad that there was no inconvenience to the local community during the skate park development and that we were able to provide a cost-effective and solution with low environmental impact.
