What was the project?
An additional parking area was required at the Leisure Centre to better accommodate the growing number of customers during busy periods.
We recommended the E-Mat Heavy Duty Access Mats for the occasion, where the durable protective layer was installed over a grassy surface next to the existing carpark.
Our solution, E-Mats!
Over 300 E-Mat Heavy Duty Access Mats were supplied and installed to create a safe, reliable temporary parking area. Four-way connectors were used to ensure the mats are securely locked together.
These mats have a non-slip traction surface, making them ideal for both personnel and public use while ensuring durability and stability to support the weight of parked vehicles.
Result for One Leisure
One Leisure has opened the additional car park this February to accommodate for all customers using its facilities.
Preserving the grounds with a temporary option, without the need to dig up ground and lay sub-surfaces, was the goal and that was achieved efficiently at the site in St Ives.
