The EuroTrak HD 2-way Connector is used to join only EuroTrak Heavy Duty Access Mats.
It is an effective way to join those mats with bolts and washers and improve safety and security when used.
During installation of the EuroTrak Heavy Duty Access Mats, simply place the connector under the corner holes of each mat and connect with standard bolts and washers from the top.
No specialist equipment is needed for these connectors.
When using heavy plant and machinery, the EuroTrak HD 2-Way Connector allows for a small amount of flex to help prevent damages to the mats.
Safety can be increased too, preventing slipping and movement of loose mats, to reduce tripping hazards so the mats don’t lift on uneven surfaces and continue to protect the ground area.
These connectors are available in plastic as standard, with metal as an alternative. If you’re unsure as to what connectors are suitable for your application, please speak to a member of the team.
Need to knows
We always recommend that mats are connected, for health and safety purposes.
To install, please use either standard spanners, a wrench or battery operated drill to tighten the bolts. We do not advise using air-drills as this can cause over-tightening of the bolts.

Connectivity
Simply place the connector under the corner holes of each temporary access and ground protection mat and connect with a bolt and washer from the top.
Be aware not to over tighten the bolt to allow for room of movement and also expansion of the mats in hot weather conditions.
Handling & Storage
Gloves should be worn when handling this product. We deliver to site in pre-wrapped packs with pallets incorporated and banded with polyester strips, to safely transport and store using mechanical equipment. This may vary for some products.
