EuroMat Heavy Duty Access Mats for Temporary Access & Ground Protection.
The EuroMat Heavy Duty Access Mats provide a high-quality Temporary Access & Ground Protection surface that can be used for many heavy duty applications, including temporary roadways, pedestrian access, storage pads for heavy equipment, or multi-purpose work mats.
They can protect and cover soft or sensitive ground, such as sports fields, golf courses, park land and landscaped areas and are essential for the construction, civil engineering and groundwork industries. On hard standing areas or firmer ground they can take loads up to 60 tonnes and have been weight tested to a maximum load of 120 tonnes (depending on ground conditions).
The EuroMat Heavy Duty Access Mats feature a chevron traction surface that provides optimal grip and improved forward motion of vehicles and plant, even in the tougher weather conditions, and can disperse mud as they traverse.
As standard, the mat also has a non-slip pedestrian surface on the opposite side, that improves grip and reduces slippage, and it is flexible enough to follow the contours of sloping ground.
Similar to a lot of our mats, they are manufactured from 100% recycled High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and although being heavy duty by nature, they are lightweight to enable quick and easy installation by two people. There are strategically positioned hand holes along the sides and these mats can be connected in several ways, when using the standard 2-way and 4-way connectors for quicker installations.
Need to knows
We advise not to use Steel Tracked vehicles with any composite mats unless pre-authorised and agreed beforehand, traversing and aggressive movement on the mats may cause damage to them and the connectors and this will be the sole responsibility of the customer and user of the mats. When assessing ground conditions on site we advise seeking professional engineering guidance if there is any doubt. It is the users responsibility to assess the load-bearing capacity of the ground, and to only operate vehicles within the weight that the ground is capable of safely supporting.
