The Metal Reinforcement Plate is a way to connect the EuroTrak Heavy Duty Access Mats.
It is a very secure and robust way to connect mats efficiently together with bolts or washers.
This connection method is more effective to other alternatives, such as Standard Hand Hole Connectors, especially when used for long-term projects with heavy plant and machinery.
Simply place the base of the EuroTrak HD 2-way Connector under the mats and through the hand holes in the mat, then place the Metal Reinforcement Plate over the top and connect together by using standard bolts and washers.
Need to knows
We always recommend that mats are connected, for health and safety purposes.
To install, please use either standard spanners, a wrench or battery operated drill to tighten the bolts. We do not advise using air-drills as this can cause over-tightening of the bolts.

Connectivity
Simply place the connector under the corner holes of each temporary access and ground protection mat and connect with a bolt and washer from the top.
Be aware not to over tighten the bolt to allow for room of movement and also expansion of the mats in hot weather conditions.
Handling & Storage
Gloves should be worn when handling this product. We deliver to site in pre-wrapped packs with pallets incorporated and banded with polyester strips, to safely transport and store using mechanical equipment. This may vary for some products.
