Safe Walk matting for Temporary Access and Ground Protection.
Safe Walk Matting can be placed on top of almost any type of surface, incorporated as an integrated drainage system with weather protection, for safety and comfort to the workforce and pedestrians.
With Safe Walk, there is no need for additional cable ties or expensive connectors. Thanks to the tongue and groove design, every single mat can be placed and connected quickly, effectively, and safely. The pedestrian-friendly mats can also be easily adapted to fit around obstacles or buildings.
The easy laying and simple installation process allow a huge range of applications. The mats can be used within industries and applications, such as social distancing at schools, construction sites, pedestrian walkways, warehouse flooring, and more!
In addition, there is no requirement for specialist lifting equipment and Safe Walk Matting can be picked up at any time by a single person without any effort and can be easily shaped to fit around existing traffic management equipment.
Optional ramped edges are also available and provide a complete non-trip solution, enabling its use with wheelchairs and buggies.
Need to knows
We advise not to use Steel Tracked vehicles with any composite mats unless pre-authorised and agreed beforehand, traversing and aggressive movement on the mats may cause damage to them and the connectors and this will be the sole responsibility of the customer and user of the mats. When assessing ground conditions on site we advise seeking professional engineering guidance if there is any doubt. It is the users responsibility to assess the load-bearing capacity of the ground, and to only operate vehicles within the weight that the ground is capable of safely supporting.
*It is highly recommended that ramps are used with the Safe Walk Matting.

Handling & Storage
Gloves should be worn when handling this product. We deliver to site in pre-wrapped packs with pallets incorporated and banded with polyester strips, to safely transport and store using mechanical equipment. This may vary for some products.
