The Shield Crash Tested Barrier is a water-filled barrier for use on roads/areas with vehicular access.Â
Crash tested and approved to BS EN1317-N1 50Mph (80Kmph) standard for roadside safety.
The Shield Barrier protects the workforce in the event of impact at the roadside.
It’s manufactured from UV Stabilised Medium Density Polyethene (UVMDPE) to be light and easy enough for installation, without the need of heavy lifting machinery.
It is independently crash tested up to speeds of 50mph, conforming to Horiba Mira BS EN 1317 N1 to be one of the safest barriers around.
Not only that, the Shield Barrier takes the car’s impact along the barricade without deflecting or hitting into other traffic.
When completely filled, the barrier can withstand high wind speeds too and an anti-climb tubular fence top can be added to give an impressive 2.4m overall height.
It’s quick deployment can save on labour and transportation costs.
It is the user’s responsibility to assess whether the site is capable of safety.

We deliver to site in pre-wrapped packs with pallets incorporated and banded with polyester strips, to safely transport and store using mechanical equipment. This may vary for some products.
