Backhoe Manhole Box for Temporary Access, Ground Protection & Support.
The Backhoe Manhole Box is a 4-sided supporting structure used to construct pre-case concrete manhole chambers, small chambers, and small tanks.
Designed and tested to withstand ground pressure of 30.4 kN/m2, it saves time, labour, and costs in comparison to hydraulic manhole braces and trench sheet alternatives.
If ground pressure of your project exceeds that amount, or if the ground is weak or unstable, then a temporary works design should be sought.
The excavation can be a depth of 3 metres to lower the Backhoe Manhole Box into with a maximum of 1 Top Box. Please contact Elite GSS for assistance.

Handling & Storage
Gloves should be worn when handling this product. We deliver to site in pre-wrapped packs with pallets incorporated and banded with polyester strips, to safely transport and store using mechanical equipment. This may vary for some products.
