The Backhoe Trench Box is the perfect alternative to Standard and Mini Trench Boxes when lifting capacities become an issue on-site.
Used to support the sides of excavations and designed for inner-city shoring jobs, this lightweight Backhoe Trench Box provides a safe working environment for those on-site.
It can withstand the surrounding soil pressure and also be used in conjunction with 4-sided manhole boxes for complete protection of site workers.
Furthermore, the system has been designed and tested to withstand ground pressure of 18 kN/m2. Should the ground pressure of your site exceed this, or if the ground is weak or unstable, then a temporary works design should be sought from a specialist team. Please contact Elite GSS for assistance.
Also, the system is suitable for use with smaller machines such as 180 and Rubber Tyre Excavators.
