This trench plate can be bolted to the ground and can support loads up to 400kg (depending on ground conditions).

Tuff Trench is a trench cover for Temporary Access across apertures, bores or trenches.

Buyback Scheme

Tuff Trench was the UK’s first blow moulded trench cover on the market, it has been invented and manufactured in the UK with utility and highway contractors in mind.

The Tuff Trench is made from 100% virgin material and 100% recyclable, not only is it environmentally friendly but it is far more cost-effective compared to alternative materials like plywood that can fail to deal with the everyday rigorous purpose.

At just over 1 metre long, it is a compact solution to temporarily cover excavations and allow pedestrians to cross without interrupting the site project. It is easily man-handled and lifted by one person due to the inbuilt handles and needs to be fixed to the ground to maintain sturdiness.

When using this product, please do not exceed loadings of over 400kg, as this may result in damage.
We advise not to use vehicles on this product unless pre-authorised and agreed upon beforehand. Traversing and aggressive movement may cause damage and this will be the sole responsibility of the customer and user.
