Scandinavian Timber Bog Mats supply excellent ground cover for short and long-term projects where heavy machinery is required, whilst providing access for rubber and tracked vehicles, and reducing the risk of damage where access is required for excavation.
The Scandinavian Timber Bog Mats are sourced from contracted sawmills in Europe that have ISO certifications and respect EU forestry plans to be environmentally reusable and cause minimum ground disturbance.
Manufactured from interlocking planks of pine and spruce that create a stable platform and an exceptional temporary roadway for heavy loads.
For easy transportation and installation, there are lifting sockets at both ends. These Bog Mats are used within a number of industries; examples include power plant construction and maintenance, solar and wind farms, along with oil and gas pipeline support during construction.
Need to knows
We advise to use plant machinery with rubber or tracked wheels to carry and place the timber mats into position and damage will be the sole responsibility of the customer and user of the mats. When assessing ground conditions on site we advise seeking professional engineering guidance if there is any doubt. It is the users responsibility to assess the load-bearing capacity of the ground, and to only operate vehicles within the weight that the ground is capable of safely supporting.
