Steel Road Plates for Temporary Access and Ground Protection.

Steel Road Plates enable plant and machinery to operate over uneven or sunken ground with safety and ease.

Our Steel Road Plates are manufactured from mild steel and we supply them in a range of steel gauges in order to best suit your needs and application. We recommend using 13mm thick Plates for pedestrian use and the thicker 19mm Plates for allowing vehicles to pass over them.

All of our Steel Road Plates are supplied with a 60mm hole in each corner, which are also known as road plate lifting eyes. This, therefore, allows them to be chained for easier handling when placing and removing them. A single line connection can be made in as fast as 10 minutes!

In addition, the eyes on the plates are approximately 60mm in diameter and are located 50mm from the edge.

Gloves should be worn when handling this product. We deliver to site in pre-wrapped packs with pallets incorporated and banded with polyester strips, to safely transport and store using mechanical equipment. This may vary for some products.
