The Alimats are an outrigger mat system made from multiple interlocking modules for effective enhancement of bi-directional load spread for heavy-duty powered access machines.
These large pads reject any movement for improved load distribution and prevention of damage to the existing ground.

The Alimats are manufactured from certified Aluminium to hold ultimate strength and have been extruded by ISO9001, IS14001, and ISO45001 accredited manufacturing and fitted with handles and ID plates.
They provide unlimited coverage as multiple modules have the ability to be interconnected and are also easy to transport and carry with the handles on each module.
Alimats can also be stacked to offer further protection and increased load capacity; single layers are suggested for tracking conditions and additional layers for operating conditions for multiple applications (suitable for cranes, MEWPS, concrete pumps, and scaffolding).
Modules weigh between 25 kg and 48 kg, which enables easy handling and reduces installation time on site with no additional plant required and/or short rigging to install and remove. The handles are fitted and located away from the trapping zone when placed for safety.
Other outrigger pad alternatives are often made from Timber or Ultra-High Molecular-Weight-Polyethylene (UHMWPE) which deteriorate with continued use and when exposed to the elements, so certification will not be available at the time of use. It is the users responsibility to assess the load-bearing capacity of the ground and to only operate vehicles within the weight that the ground is capable of safely supporting.
Base layers are to be placed at an angle to ensure load spreads are perpendicular to the direction of travel across the modules and that load spread is effectively achieved.

Gloves should be worn when handling this product. We deliver to site in pre-wrapped packs with pallets incorporated and banded with polyester strips, to safely transport and store using mechanical equipment. This may vary for some products.
